Janique and Shane met over 10 years ago when they were young teenagers. Shane started working at the new Sobeys grocery store near Janique’s high school, as did some of Janique’s friends, which is how he was eventually introduced to Janique. Shane thought the best approach to getting Janique’s attention was to message her via the internet, as well as all her other friends, because he didn't think they would talk among themselves about receiving messages from cute boys. Although this approach was unsuccessful at the time, Janique always had a special place in Shane’s heart which would bring them together soon enough.

Over the last decade, Shane and Janique would continue to cross paths through mutual friends considering Ottawa is a very small place. After a few years living in Toronto, Janique decided to move back to Ottawa in 2020, and with encouragement from friends ended up back in Orleans. This was truly the beginning of the two connecting as they spent more time together and got to know each other better. Shane was just as interested as he was back in high school and after some encouragement from their good friends, Janique took a chance on him. The two hit it off, realizing more and more just how much in common they shared and how easy it was being together. Four fast years later, they are thrilled to have you all here with them as they prepare to commit to each other forever on this special day.

From out of town?

Please be aware that the hotel's standard check-in time is 3:00 PM. However, to allow ample time for you to settle in and comfortably attend the wedding we recommend considering the following options:
Early Check-In Request on Saturday
If your travel plans permit, we suggest requesting an early check-in on Saturday morning. This will ensure that you have sufficient time to refresh before the wedding.
Friday Evening Hotel Stay
Alternatively, booking a room for Friday evening will provide you with the convenience of checking in on Friday night, allowing you to wake up refreshed and ready for the event on Saturday.

SHUTTLE SERVICE TO BEAN TOWN

  For those staying at the Holiday Inn Express or any guests in need of transportation  we will be organizing a transportation service from Orleans to Bean Town Ranch departing from the hotel.
Please respond via RSVP if your party requires shuttle service.
